Public Works Construction & Renovation
With roots dating back to 1835, the University of West Alabama in Livingston stands as one of the state’s oldest institutions of higher learning. In response to significant enrollment growth over the past two decades, Foust Hall—originally constructed in 1922—required substantial upgrades to better support expanding administrative and faculty needs.
Summerville Construction partnered with Seay, Seay & Litchfield Architects to renovate and enhance the existing structure, delivering modernized spaces that strengthen campus operations while preserving the building’s historic character. The improvements ensure Foust Hall will continue to serve the university community effectively as it grows into the future.
